Full Job Description

A new and exciting opportunity has become available to join General Surgery and Colorectal secretarial team at William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. This role will provide administrative support to our clinical team.

The successful applicant would be joining a motivated team, responsible for providing administrative support to Consultants, typing letters, arranging appointments, printing reports and monitoring and supporting patient's through their pathway from referral to treatment. Fundamentally working closely with with colleagues throughout the department to ensure patients are at the heart of everything we do., To provide comprehensive administration, clerical and audio typing support to Consultants, Nurses and their teams based at the William Harvey Hospital. Working in a team based secretarial service providing support for the administration teams and ensuring continuity of the service. Monitor and support the patient's pathway. Act as the point of liaison between patients, GP's, other staff and outside agencies.
