Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity/vacancy has become available for a Medical Staffing Coordinator to lead in the management of Paediatrics & NNU Resident & Consultant Doctor Rota's at Kingston Hospital. The post holder will also be required to manage the approval and collation of all aspects of doctors' leave, timesheets and sickness in line with the processes in place.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide an efficient and effective service in a pressured environment. The post holder will work closely with the Trust's Senior Management, Medical HR and other stakeholders for developing and maintaining the Rotas on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and proven administrative experience, including keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems (Healthroster). Candidates will also need to demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise their workload in order to meet tight timescales.

Previous experience with rota coordination, working within a workforce department or working with medical staff and doctors is desirable although not essential.
