Full Job Description

As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. You will be working closely with service users to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey.

  • You may have experience of providing support to people with a mental illness; or experience of providing care and/or support services within another social care setting in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
  • Transferable Life/Work Experience: You bring valuable experiences from your personal or professional life that can be applied to this role.
  • Listening and Empathy: You are a good listener, empathetic, understanding, kind, patient, and willing to learn.
  • Values Alignment: You can demonstrate behaviours consistent with the values of our Charity, including hope, understanding, expertise, equity, commitment, passion, and openness.
