Can you make the difference to the lives of our students? Do you like to be challenged? Are you solution focused?

Do you want to be part of our OUTSTANDING SEMH school?

This could be the job for you.

West Heath School is a challenging place to work, but our dedicated staff rebuild lives through education. Teaching respect, encouraging responsibility, building relationships, and developing resilience in our students is an integral part of the role. Our committed, dynamic, and resourceful staff find working at West Heath School rewarding.

If you would like to be part of our journey to support students' lives, we are looking for a Keyworker to join our team as part of our Ofsted rated outstanding provision. You will be working with our students who require the most support integrating into the school community.

The HEART department supports young people who have a higher complexity of needs within their social, emotional and mental health requirements. Led by a Clinical Psychologist, the provision is greatly supported by our therapy department. Such a role might therefore be attractive for Psychology graduates who are hoping to gain further experience with mental health and embark on their clinical psychology training.

As a school we are proud to promote the development of life skills and social development as equal to academic achievement. West Heath School works towards the end goal of helping students re-integrate into mainstream learning and preparation for adulthood.

If you would like to be part of the journey helping our students gain their best outcomes, we can support you by offering:

  • Term Time only working

  • Free lunches

  • Generous Company Pension scheme

  • Employee Assistant Programme

  • Charity Discount Scheme

  • Summer and Christmas Social events
