Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
- A kind, enthusiastic, and reliable individual with a love for working with children and young adults
- A positive role model and a friendly face
- Someone who is patient, empathetic, and whom has a whole lot of energy!
- Someone who is compassionate, kind-hearted, open-minded, and creative, because every student is unique and so are the ways you'll help them learn whilst ensuring every pupil feels like they belong.
- Reliability, great organisational skills, and the ability to juggle with the kind of grace only a true multitasker has.
- The ability to stay calm - some days can be challenging but you can bounce back when things are tricky.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young adults with complex learning needs and the patience of a saint (or at least the patience of someone who's had their fair share of 'fascinating' classroom moments!).
What the school offers its staff
- The chance to make a difference in the lives of young people, one small victory at a time.
- It's a job with heart - We're not just about education in our small classes, we're about building confidence, spreading joy, and creating meaningful connections that will stay with you for life.
- We're an amazing team who are all in it together and we've got your back during the good, the bad, and the "Did that really just happen?" moments.
- Comprehensive support, induction and training package; as well as professional development opportunities because we're all about helping you grow, both as a person and in your ability to juggle six things at once!
