Motor Transport Driver (HGV)

Landmarc Support Services are currently seeking to recruit a Training Area Operative (Motor Transport Driver) to join our dedicated team. In this role you will play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to train.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic about working in an outdoor environment, dedicated to supporting the Military. Landmarc provide full training and continuous development opportunities, making this a fantastic opportunity to start a career on the Defence Training Estate., Operation and maintenance of plant and equipment (training provided)

Complete all necessary documentation using both IT and paper-based systems

Ability to maintain tachograph records in accordance with UK and EU operating licence legislation and regulations
The Ideal Candidate

HGV driver. Licence Cat C and CPC are essential

C+E and D/D1 desirable/preferred

Knowledge of UK haulage regulations for road

Open to additional training on different vehicle types inclusive of plant machinery to facilitate contractual obligations to the military

Excellent communication skills

Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet

Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced team environment

Good understanding of Health & Safety protocols

A valid Manual UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role
