Full Job Description

The Microsoft Power Specialist is part of an established transformation team in the IA Centre of Excellence, this is an exciting new role responsible for supporting the expansion of our Microsoft Power Platform capability. The role-holder will work closely with the IA Solution Lead to agree our standards and ways of working for the development of MS Power solutions, support upskilling of the existing team, design and deliver automation solutions and collaborate with other IA developers, Business Process Analysts and business stakeholders to drive a culture of standardisation, continuous process improvement and improved efficiency across RMG.,

  • Work as part of the IA Solutions team to agree, and ensure adherence to, best practice standards, ways of working and documentation to ensure the greatest business benefit
  • Experienced in setting up MS Power capability
  • Design & deliver MS Power training to IA CoE Team members, citizen developers and business SMEs
  • Benchmark and collaborate with software suppliers and other industry experts for knowledge management & support
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of conceptual design documentation as part of the delivery of automations.
  • Responsible for the delivery of IA solutions to the business, including being part of appropriate testing & leading deployment activities within the stipulated timelines with exemplary quality standards
  • Provide support for the business and the IA Service & Support team within IA CoE during testing, Service Transition and Early Live Support (ELS
  • Responsible for supporting the design of, and adherence to, best practice ways of working and technical standards relating to the design, development and support of Microsoft Power Platform solutions

    Microsoft Power Platform Developer accreditation
  • Proven expertise in design, develop, test and support of MS Power solutions (Power automate, apps, virtual agent, power pages, Power BI, Co-Pilot)
  • Ideally experience of solution architect responsibilities or willingness to learn
  • Ideally experience of training/coaching others in use of Microsoft Power, or willingness to learn
