Multi-skilled Operative

Neway is seeking a Multi-skilled Operative to join the Building Services and Maintenance team based with Swindon Council., This role is starting on the 7th of October, working 37 hours a week, initially for a 3 month contract that will be extended after review., Carry out various building maintenance tasks, including repairs, refurbishments, and installations
Perform duties related to plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance
Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
Provide excellent service to the council's tenants and users of public buildings
Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a broad range of skills in construction and maintenance., Proven experience in a similar role within building services or maintenance
Multi-skilled background in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and plastering
Ability to work independently, with good problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
A flexible and positive attitude towards varied tasks
Full UK driving license
