Multi Skilled Operative

There's a permanent opportunity for you here as a Multi skilled operative to join the team on one of our sites in the Abingdon area. This role will be working on our client site which is a Scientific Research Centre. Hours of work Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive works within the agreed times and to the highest standard, complying with current regulations and client specifications
• Working either as part of a team completing small maintenance activities or working independently on minor tasks without supervision
• Maintaining excellent relationships with professionals of a variety of expertise including our main client UKAEA, and subcontractors.
• Working to agreed timeframes ensuring works are completed as scheduled
• Undertaking a range of general maintenance repairs
• Observing the highest levels of health and safety at all times and ensuring that best working practices are adhered to
• Personal responsibility for achieving high standards of quality and workmanship on site
• Following the works assigned via the company software system
• Completing mandatory UKAEA and Dalkia training as required.#
• Reporting to the fabric supervisor
• Able to adapt communication to audience and complete written documents and reports
• Presents a professional image
  
  Basic education ideally with a GCSEs in Maths and English (or recognised equivalent)
• A good understanding and experience of the facilities maintenance environment.
• Comfortable with basic IT software and experience in its use
• Ability to follow instruction.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication.
• An adaptable and proactive approach.
