Full Job Description
As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, supporting student development, and contributing to the overall academic growth of the department. You will be part of a collaborative environment where you can share ideas and innovate in your teaching practice. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Music lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, including music clubs and school events.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our dynamic team at a well-established secondary school in Stoke on Trent. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire students across Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially 5, teaching Music and performance., Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. - Strong knowledge and passion for Music.
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Previous experience as a Music Teacher at secondary level.
