Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated physiotherapist to lead on the further development and implementation of medical governance processes and player health projects across the Professional Game. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring medical standards are upheld, whilst also leading projects that support best practice health and injury management. The ECB has a strategic aim to support a thriving and sustainable professional game. This exciting new role will collaborate with practitioners across the newly merged Men's and Women's County network with the prime objective of supporting an environment in which clinical excellence can flourish., Work closely with the Chief Medical Officer, Heads of Science and Medicine, Discipline Leads, Heads of Domestic Game Science and Medicine, Professional Game departments of the ECB and Lead Auditor Provide operational leadership to support Medical standards and Assurance across the Professional Game and England Pathways:

  • Support implementation and annual review of Science and Medicine standards across the Men's and Women's professional game including new Women's Tier 1, Tier 2 and Academies.
  • Support the Medical Advisory Group and appropriate sub-committees and practitioner groups.
  • Oversee the implementation, reporting and output of Domestic and National Team Science and Medicine Audits for both Men, Women and Disability cricket.
  • Analyse themes in Audit Data to identify areas for improvement in player safety and clinical practice
  • Support annual reviews of the Cricket Partnership Agreements
