The successful candidate will be responsible for the following;

The delivery and maintenance of the Business Management System, providing advice on the status of, and actions required for ISO 9001 certification.
Leading a programme of internal and external audits to ensure the BMS is effective and supports conformance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Manage a network of Quality Points of Contact (QPOCs), holding regular one to one meetings to support them in carrying out their responsibilities.
Managing the Business Management Forum, acting as Deputy Chairperson to provide a forum to share information and evidence of assurance activities, and an escalation route to top leadership.
Supporting Management with the production of Nuclear Authorisation Condition 17 - Management Systems compliance statement, ensuring the Naval Base meets the requirements of the Defence Nuclear Safety Regulator.
To be the focal point for the external ISO Accredited body, ensuring the planning and logistics for the audit is undertaken efficiently.
To provide support, and line management, of 2 x EO Internal Auditors in their duties of conducting audits and the maintenance of the Internal Audit Programme (IAP).
