We are looking for a driven, diligent, friendly and proactive Neighbourhood Housing Team Leader who is committed to driving this essential area of the Trust forward. The Trust is committed to making sure our customers have good quality, safe homes and communities, and our Neighbourhood Team Leaders are key to making this happen. Reporting to the Neighbourhood Experience Manager, the Neighbourhood Housing Team Leader will take an operational lead role in ensuring the effective delivery of a high quality and effective Tenancy and Neighbourhood Management Service. We are looking for candidates with a background in managing Anti-Social Behaviour and Tenancy breaches, who are knowledgeable and passionate about keeping people safe and secure in their homes and who have a desire to learn and develop skills and experience. Your main focus will be leading on the operational delivery of a team of Neighbourhood Housing Officers, dealing with reports of Anti-Social Behaviour and breaches of Tenancy. You will work hand in hand with the Safer Neighbourhood Team Leader and will agree where escalation to formal legal action is necessary. The post holder will also produce and interrogate reports and analysis of data with responsibilities for acting on this information. Candidates will need to work closely with a variety of teams across the Trust and external partners when managing incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour or Tenancy Breaches. + Educated to degree or equivalent level of qualification or equivalent professional experience in social housing. + Membership of the Chartered Institute of Housing or will to work towards membership. + Significant experience of managing a customer focussed team in housing or a related sector. + Experience of working within an Anti-Social Behaviour or Tenancy/Neighbourhood Management Team. + The ability to problem solve, find creative solutions and be a confident decision maker. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across a wide range of channels and audiences with the ability to explain complex issues in an understandable way. + Ability to question and analyse data to make informed and educated decisions. + Awareness and empathy of social issues that may impact customers of the Trust and respect for diverse, individual needs. Due to the nature of the role, a full current driving license and access to a car is essential. The role will also require the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check.
