Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Service Technician to join our team at Thames Water. This is an exciting and varied customer-facing role where day to day you will be resolving customer network challenges to ensure minimal disruption to customer supply.

Network Service Technicians are also required to support Wholesale project work, either on a full or part-time basis and ongoing leakage delivery activities.

What you will be doing as a Network Service Technician

- Operation of the mains network, including controlling burst mains, ensuring isolation of mains to facilitate planned work, emergency repairs and maintenance.
- Personal ownership of customer issues, responding to queries & complaints, resolving issues.
- Ensure water quality compliance during repairs.
- Act as local network expert for isolation and rezoning, providing information for risk assessments & sharing information regarding network risks and other Health & Safety issues.
- Reliable for investigating the clean water network to resolve poor asset performance, including high or low pressure, leakage, metering queries and loss of supply.
- Working in compliance with Company procedures including Business Operating Plan, Health & Safety and streetworks legislation.
