As a Night Team Member, you play a vital role in ensuring every guest's experience at YHA is truly memorable. Your dedication to customer service is at the heart of our mission.,

• Ensuring the security of the hostel, making every guest feel safe and welcome.
• You'll work on reception, providing support to guests and preparing necessary reports.
• Regular inspections to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
• Carrying out cleaning duties, helping to prepare the breakfast service, and covering various tasks to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  
  Our roles are diverse, and we believe that diverse backgrounds make us stronger. Good communication skills and basic IT proficiency are beneficial. Flexibility to cover various shifts and tasks is a key asset. A food safety qualification is desirable but not essential.

YHA Whitby is a unique place to work, particularly at night. You couldn't get more atmospheric as the hostel is a 16th century manor house is perched on the top of the cliff right next to Whitby Abbey. By day we have enviable views of the town, the moors and the sea but at night the sound of the waves hitting the coast, the wind buffeting the headland and the night sky with the silhouette of the Abbey are something else.
