NPD process from concept handover to product launch, ensuring smooth transition and scale-up in production.

Conduct factory trials and pre-production runs to ensure product consistency and quality and successful first productions

Conduct necessary testing including organoleptic reviews to ensure product quality and safety

Work to critical path to ensure all deadlines are worked to

Ensure the output of all trials are fully documented with adherence to food safety, quality standards and customer requirements are met.

Provide information to support the creation of customer and factory specifications which lead to the production of accurate specifications and appropriate product labelling information

Support at relevant NPD meetings

Ensure all NPD-related paperwork and or samples are processed and available on time and in full as per the requirements of the customer

Engage and work collaboratively with the cross-functional teams

Maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and retail partners, ensuring clear communication at all stages

A self-starter, you will show energy and enthusiasm for the products in which you work, and you will thrive under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a food manufacturing business, preferably a bakery or equivalent knowledge/experience. A food science-related qualification is preferred.
