Nurse Unit Manager

As a Unit Manager with Exemplar Health Care,youll be at the forefront of clinical care delivery for the people living on your designated unit. No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• leadingyour units care and nursing teams to ensure we meet the medical, physical and emotional needs of the people we support
• providingstrong leadershipto maintain and continuously develop high standards of care and drive continuous improvement
• overseeing and managing all your unitsclinical elements and risks
• ensuringcare plans and risk assessmentsare completed and reviewed in a timely manner and reflect care interventions appropriately
• acting as theNamed Nursefor residents allocated to you, with responsibility for the oversight, review and update of their care profiles
• the supervision and management of your units ordering, handling,storage,administration, recordinganddisposalofmedication.

About Exemplar Health Care Lepton Heights is part of Exemplar Health Care, one of the countrys leading nursing care providers. Lepton Heights is due to open in January 2025. The new care home will support adults living with complex mental health conditions, dementia, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities. The home will have 41 large bedrooms and two apartments, each with an en-suite, across four units.
