Full Job Description

  • Child Development: Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
  • Safe & Nurturing Environment: Ensure the nursery is a secure, inclusive, and welcoming space for all children.
  • Wellbeing & Engagement: Build positive relationships with children, supporting their emotional and social development.
  • Partnership with Families: Work closely with parents and carers, providing updates on children's progress.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a supportive and dynamic team, sharing ideas and best practices.
  • Health & Safety: Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies to maintain high standards of care.

  • Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).

  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Confident in building relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Commitment to Learning: A willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
