Nursery Staff Horticultural

Duties will include:

• Assist in the production of a variety of plants.
• Ensure the desired quality of plants is achieved and maintained in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the greenhouse and production areas.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks including equipment upkeep and repairs.
• Help with the preparation and packaging of plants for distribution.
• Support team members in the daily running of the greenhouse operation and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Repot growing plants so they have enough room
• Choose the appropriate soil for new plants
• Water and trim plants and shrubs as they grow
• Transport plants to other selling locations
• Provide advice to clients about which plants to buy
• Organize plants by type and season in the store
• Unpack additional plants and accessories
• General nursery work

Heavy lifting will be required, physical job, needs to be strong and able to lift. Able to get to the Nursery due to its rural location.
