Full Job Description

The role of the nursing associate in theatres is to be an accountable professional working within the limitations of the registration, while promoting health and wellbeing within the role and wider team. The applicant should be responsible for monitoring and providing patient care to a high quality while working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality care for patients. Ensuring patient safety and dignity is always protected during their time within theatres. The individual should be able to contribute to patient care as part of the team and be willing to support, teach and give feedback to students and junior members of the team, Using the breadth of knowledge gained across various fields of nursing the Nursing Associate will be able to provide holistic and patient centred care to a high standard supporting patients of all ages in a variety of settings within the theatre's specialists' areas, these include Ward, Scrub, Recovery
