Full Job Description

Neuro Paediatric Occupational Therapist - Band 7 (Rehabilitation) Exciting opportunity for a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join a Rehabilitation Team. You will deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to children and young people in neurorehabilitation, outpatient services, and step-down pathways, promoting participation and functional activity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead OT provision for children with complex neurodisabilities and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Provide specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions that are developmentally appropriate and goal-directed.
  • Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized therapy plans.
  • Manage upper limb rehabilitation, including splinting, Botox interventions, and therapy goals.
  • Contribute to meetings, reports, and transition plans for children/young people.
  • Support a 24-hour rehabilitation approach and work flexibly to meet service needs.
  • Essential Skills:
  • Experience in a complex environment with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
