Full Job Description

+ Conduct specialist Occupational Therapy assessments in collaboration with service users and their families/carers, and present findings to the team.
+ Manage a caseload of clients with complex Occupational Therapy needs, using evidence-based, patient-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
+ Develop and monitor treatment plans to ensure the safety, well-being, and independence of service users, working closely with partner agencies when necessary.
+ Provide specialist support and education to service users and carers regarding various aspects of occupational therapy, including equipment fitting.
+ Engage in continuous professional development by participating in practice development initiatives, supervision, reflective practice forums, and maintaining competency through Continuous Personal Development.
The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role., + All new starters have a thorough induction process, both local and Trust wide, which aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.

This role is eligible for an incentive scheme of £3,500 paid at intervals over an 18-month period. All payments are pro-rata, non-pensionable and subject to a clawback clause.
