An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and forward thinking therapist to join our leadership team here at East Surrey hospital as Occupational Therapy Surgical Team Lead. The Surgical and Amputee team are a well established and multidisciplinary focused team who are well respected within the hospital for their knowledge within Surgery and Amputee management. We are looking for a Team Lead who likes a challenge, can be flexible with their approach to working as well as well experienced with a variety of assessments and interventions including access/home visits and wheelchair prescription.
This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to engage others, with a proactive approach to service development. You will also demonstrate a strong commitment to a person centred approach in line with the Trust Values and Behaviours. As such, the successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to be flexible, work under pressure and thrive in a fast paced environment.
We provide emergency and non-emergency services to the residents of East Surrey, North-East West Sussex, and South Croydon, including the major towns of Crawley, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill; a community of over 535,000 people. We provide acute and complex services and a range of outpatient, diagnostic services whilst Crawley Hospital and Horsham in West Sussex and Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Health Centre in Surrey provide less complex planned services.
