Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor

We are looking for a suitable Occupational Technical Instructor to join our service. We provide an Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy service to our Older People's mental health wards in Bury. We work with older people with a range of complex mental health conditions. The philosophy of the role is based on the principles of the Model of Human Occupation, This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Instructor to join our Older People's Service in Tameside. The role of Technical Instructor is to work alongside the Occupational Therapist & Physiotherapist and to carry out either individually or group activities, which will be aimed at enabling individuals to become more independent, confident and able to cope with problems they encounter because of their mental health problems.
