Full Job Description
We are looking for a talented individual to join us as Operations Executive - Assurance in London. In your role, you will perform key duties associated with Operational Assurance functions. Ensure compliance with regulations and application of CASS Safe Custody rules. To perform the daily duties associated with all Operational Assurance functions, including effective processing of transaction dealing errors and ensure ongoing compliance with the relevant FCA CASS rules. As a Operations Executive - Assurance, your responsibilities will include among others
- Ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and work produced within deadlines, any anomalies are reported to your line manager within agreed timescales and ensure that personal and team KPI's / KRI's / MIR are met, assist in collation of MI highlighting any issues to management.
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries in a timely professional manner, liaising with fund managers and external parties where relevant and in a timely manner, escalating any issues where relevant.
- Logging, maintaining and responding to written client enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring all client and external documents are relevant and up to date.
- Contributing to the review of team tasks, identifying improvements with a view to enhancing client service. Participate in, and contribute to, any ad-hoc project-related work where necessary.
- Adopting a high-quality culture to minimise errors and ensuring high quality service levels are delivered. Ensuring all work is with a high level of accuracy, including data input, document checking and payments, escalating to manager or relevant department where necessary.
- Demonstrating and understanding and application of the Group's Conduct Risk Framework Ensure that knowledge and skills are maintained and developed in line with industry, regulatory and internal requirements by undertaking regular and appropriate continuous professional development (CPD).
Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in Operations is advantageous but not essential. Required - Demonstrable interest in financial services and in particular investment management. Required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel. Required
- Strong Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences. Desired
- Relevant professional qualifications e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate desirable but not essential.
