Full Job Description
- Supporting the wood recycling operations at the Runcorn and Berkswell sites to ensure the waste treatment facility is operating to standards required by the site permit and development consent order
- Actively supporting and contributing to the continuous improvement of the Company's Management Systems.
- As the Operations Manager, you will manage and support all Veolia employees in the safe operation of the Wood recycling Operations including the controlling and managing of waste inputs.
- Responsible for the day to day running of the site, health and safety, working towards the site P&L objectives and customer relations
- Ensuring service delivery, in line with customer expectations.

Experienced people manager and experience of managing change and ability to inspire a team. - Previous experience of wood treatment plant and equipment and an understanding of other associated plant and vehicles that may be used on site.
- Previous operational and administrative experience gained in a similar industry.
- CoTC for Non-Hazardous Treatment.
- Basic safety qualification.
- An understanding of Environmental legislation and experience of dealing with the EA.
- Good communication skills communicating with people of all levels.
- Ability to organise resources and follow through objectives.
- Working with a quality management system e.g. ISO.
- Current driving licence.
