Full Job Description

As an Team Leader in operations, your role will be pivotal in optimising our service to our customers as well as the development and performance of our people. The role will encompass either or both of two key elements Service Delivery and People Management. Find out more here about how you can unleash your full potential at DLLDay to day: Supporting and deputising for the team leader in providing operational excellence to our internal and external customers: Service Delivery

  • Providing key operational metrics to drive operational excellence
  • Identifying root causes of process issues and managing resolutions
  • Working on key process improvement projects
  • Facilitating and training members to run huddles
  • Handling and solving of operational incidents and complaints
  • Determining, monitoring and managing of team service levels
  • Working across departments to resolve hand-off issues
  • People Management
  • Performance management of team members
  • Supporting development and progression of Assistant Team Leaders
  • Managing the change impact of new technology on people
  • Working with the training manager to develop high impact training for the team
  • Allocation of work
  • Managing resource levels at key periods
  • Identifying team and individual development needs
  • Member onboarding

    3+ years people management experience
  • A background in Leasing/Asset Finance
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Proven problem solving capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills and affinity for data.
  • A positive and flexible outlook
  • Resilient.
  • Proven performance management skills
  • Ideally, they will also have (but not required):
  • CPI qualification
  • Project management skills
  • Change management skills
  • Experience in the Construction, Transportation & Material Handling.
