Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Operations Support Manager / Assistant Practice Managerto join our dynamic and forward-thinking team at Brookside Group Practice. This role is 32-37 hours per week over 4 or 5 days. The successful candidate will need to be able to work Wednesdays and Fridays. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will help implement the smooth running of the practice, this includes managing IT, facilities and line management of our non-clinical managers., Maintain oversight of facilities management related to all sites of Brookside Group Practice. Support negotiations on current and proposed supplier contracts and services. To ensure the computer and phone network and workstations are kept running and maintained. Assist with financial management tasks such as budgeting. Supporting the Senior Operations and Finance Assistant with processes that ensure income is correctly claimed and recorded. Line management for non-clinical managers.

Essential

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with healthcare professionals and / or previous experience in the NHS or social care or relevant field.
  • Experience of conducting staff appraisals and developing staff team.
  • Line management experience.
