Full Job Description
Location: Across both Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (frequency of visits to each site, to be agreed locally), The Organisational Development Team is delivering key work-streams around leadership, culture, talent management, employee experience, engagement, wellbeing and coaching.
Are you an experienced administrator, looking to develop your skills? Can you manage competing priorities and deliver with a high level of accuracy?
In this busy role based on site (at either Lakeside, North Harbour, or St. Mary's Hospital, Isle of Wight) and working from the comfort of your home, you will provide general administrative support to assist in the organisation and administration of OD programmes and events.
This is a truly exciting time to join this vital, busy, happy team and we look forward to receiving your application! If this appeals to you, do not delay, apply today!
Please note, this position has also been advertised on the Portsmouth Hospitals University Trusts jobs page. If you are interested in this position and wish to apply, there is no requirement for you to submit two separate applications., The duties will largely involve:
+ Handling room bookings
+ Preparing PowerPoint slides, workbooks and handouts for facilitators and events
+ Distributing joining instructions for delegates and recording attendance
+ Filling, photocopying, word processing, compiling spreadsheets and developing marketing material.
Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries from staff signposting employees to appropriate development, support and OD interventions, therefore excellent communication and customer service skills are essential., Working as a partnership, both IWT and PHU have a shared vision for excellence in care for our patients and communities; with a set of strategic aims underpinning how we will achieve this. The creation of a single corporate service is essential for us to support our clinical and operational services, and our wider transformation programme.
For further information, please read the attached document outlining the vision for our single corporate services.
The single corporate service is delivered across both organisation. You may be based at either IWT or PHU and individuals may be required to undertake business travel between sites. For leaders managing staff across multi-site locations, you will need to be visible and provide in person leadership. The arrangements and frequency will be agreed locally.
