Full Job Description

OT Assistant Therapy Practitioner within Forest House Adolescent unit and enhanced specialist pathways .

Are you interested in being part of children's inpatient services in Hertfordshire? Do you have a passion for supporting recovery through occupational therapy? If so we want to hear from you!, We are looking for an enthusiastic OT Assistant Therapy Practitioner to work with children and young people with mental health disorders . The Forest House General Adolescent unit aims to support all young people treatment where appropriate to support individuals in their recovery, help facilitate hospital transitions and support and facilitate early discharge.

You will be part of the Forest House team who are a large caring multi-disciplinary team. Forest House works collaboratively within the Hertfordshire using therapeutic and trauma informed approaches to support our young people to a place of recovery and remission.

We are a caring team; working closely to ensure we support people using our service, their family/loved ones, our colleagues and each other. We are excited about the progression of the service and possibility of positively impacting peoples recovery journey.

We are looking for staff who hold our team and Trust values. Ideally you will have experience of working with people with mental health issues and/or children and young people.
