Job Title: Outcomes Monitoring Consultant
Contract Type: Permanent

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic product professional to work within our Product Governance team, operating across Royal London's UK life and pensions product book.
This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team with a wide range of experience and backgrounds. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are customer-focused and who have strong general knowledge of financial products and ideally some area of product specialism or experience.
The role of the Product Governance team is to help ensure great customer outcomes across Royal London's open and closed product books by conducting a range of review and monitoring activities, as well as being one of the key functions acting as the 'customer advocate' in a range of business contexts.
The Outcomes Monitoring Consultant will deliver high quality product reviews, insightful 'deep dive'/thematic analysis as well as supporting a range of other monitoring activities and executive reporting. They will also have an opportunity to deploy their knowledge and experience to support project delivery and rectification activity.
With the industry adjusting to the exciting new world of Consumer Duty, this is an excellent time to join an expanding Governance function at one of the UK's leading life and pensions providers.
About the role
-The core purpose of the role is to ensure our products are delivering good customer outcomes by conducting a range of product review activities across all UK products.
-The role involves preparing governance reports, maintaining the conduct risk dashboard, leading deep dives, monitoring and collaborating on findings/actions.
-Ideally, the role-holder becomes an authoritative source of product and conduct risk expertise that helps stakeholders see the complete picture to help inform business decisions.
About you
-Relevant experience in a Product Management, Governance, or similar/related product-focused role, for example in Risk, Compliance, Proposition, Technical or Operations.
-Good knowledge of pensions, protection, and investment products, with ideally direct product experience in at least one of these.
-Good knowledge and understanding of the general principles of investment markets, the wider financial services industry, and the legislative and regulatory framework.
-Strong attention to detail, support a strong culture of continuous improvement, team working and professionalism. Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and others.
