To be responsible for co-ordinating administrative tasks relating to the running of the Paediatric Outpatient reception desk. Answering telephone queries, receiving patients, relatives and visitors to the department and co-ordinate on-line patient documentation through computerised patient management systems.
To support the clinical team in ensuring all aspects of the relevant administrative process and procedures are followed to comply with relevant UHB policies., Applicants are invited to apply in Welsh. We are currently seeking an Outpatient Receptionist to join our administrative team within the Children's Hospital for Wales. As the first point of contact for outpatients, the successful post holder will be highly motivated and will demonstrate effective teamwork and organisational skills as well as always being professional and have a friendly approach to patients, visitors, and colleagues. This role includes answering the telephone, greeting visitors, data entry, filing patient records, and other administrative office duties. You must have effective communication skills and good IT skills.
