South Tyneside and Sunderland Paediatric Bladder and Bowel Team have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Childrens Nurse with significant experience of working in a paediatric area, to join our team. Due to a recent structure change, this post now sits under the Paediatric directorate.

We are looking for a Band 6 clinician who is filled with passion to become part of our service. Someone who possesses excellent communication skills with an ambition to continually develop the service to improve the patient/family journey.

The post holder will be required to undertake holistic Tier 2 level continence assessments, and work with children and families to develop individualised treatment programmes to promote continence.

The post holder will hold clinics in both Sunderland and South Tyneside and deliver training programmes to STSFT staff.

Team working hours Monday Friday 08.30- 16.30.

Service covers South Tyneside and Sunderland area.

To adopt a philosophy of continued professional development in line with service provision, working within the scope of Specialist Nurse Role following local policies/protocols /guidelines to meet the needs of children and young people with continence problems.
