Full Job Description

As a Band 6 physiotherapist, you will be responsible for the planning and management of your own school-age caseload and service delivery using an impact-based model of clinical decision making. This role includes supporting children who attend mainstream schools and Avenue special school in Reading. There may also be the opportunity to develop your experience and skills working with preschool children in West Berkshire. Our CYPIT service supports children and young people from birth to 19 years of age across Berkshire. We're an integrated therapy service, committed to impact-based clinical decision making and co-production of therapy plans with our families and partners.Main duties of the job

  • Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex physical needs
  • Opportunity to work alongside, and learn from band 7 clinical therapists
  • Be involved in the implementation of training packages
  • Function as a specialist autonomous clinician, supporting delivery of the CYPIT model, development of the CYPF and provide support to more junior staff
  • Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives as requested
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
