Full Job Description
This role offers an opportunity to be part of the dynamic radiotherapy team at UCLH. The post-holder will be a core member of the Radiotherapy Services team leading on the delivery of the transfer of the paediatric services programme. Leading on ensuring that all staff and partners in the programme deliver agreed actions and deadlines and work with divisions, corporate services (including finance) in the development of business cases for the programme. UCLH is seeking a committed individual with the energy and focus to continue building on the existing service of excellence. The post holder will ensure that their work delivers a high-quality service that is patient focused, maximises the potential of all available resources and fosters an atmosphere of innovation and continuous improvement in accordance with Clinical Governance standards. The post holder will work to ensure that the programme develops in line with key Trust Priorities., The post-holder will be a core member of the Radiotherapy Services team leading on the delivery of the transfer of the paediatric services programme. Leading on ensuring that all staff and partners in the programme deliver agreed actions and deadlines.Work with divisions, corporate services (including finance) in the development of business cases for the programme.Establishing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners in the delivery of the programme providing management support and advice.Leadership of staff within the transfer of the paediatric services programme including leadership and management traineesBeing a lead strategic link person for a designated division/s to support the development and delivery of the programme priorities. Ensuring robust governance and risk management processes in relation to the services within the remit of the role.Articulate a vision of the programme and communicate to all staff disciplines what has to be done to achieve this vision. Dissemination of information to medical, clinical physics, radiography staff, and other healthcare professionals both in the internally within the trust, externally to all stakeholders, as well as nationally and internationally via presentations and publications.
