Pain Consultant (PMS99)

We are looking for an experienced Consultant in Anaesthesia with an interest in Pain Medicine to provide consultation clinics (telephone / face to face) and perform injections / procedures on our Mobile Injection Units (MIUs)., Working within a dynamic group of clinicians and supporting service colleagues you will learn from and with them and be proud when you inspire and develop others from your expertise too.

We're looking for someone who has GMC registration, MBBS or Equivalent, fully Accredited for Higher Specialist Training, FFPMRCA or Equivalent and have a post-graduate qualification relevant to Pain or relevant experience. You'll also have a strong commitment to patient care and continuous professional development along with excellent communication skills and work well in a team. What you'll be doing Provide expert anaesthetic care across a range of surgical procedures. Develop and implement pain management plans for patients with acute and chronic pain. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive pain management services. Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of pain medicine., You will have full GMC registration, MBBS or Equivalent, fully Accredited for Higher Specialist Training, FFPMRCA or Equivalent and have a post-graduate qualification relevant to Pain or relevant experience., Qualifications Desirable Membership of relevant Specialist Societies or Associations. Higher degree MSc, MD or equiv Experience Desirable

• Evidence of clinical commitment and a relevant specialty interest. Level 2 training in safeguarding children Specific interventions : MBB, RFD, peripheral nerve blocks, Spinal injections (not exhaustive)
