Full Job Description
Our legal counsel team provide general legal advice, negotiate commercial contracts with clients/suppliers and support to the SS&C Groupâs business units and corporate support functions.,
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents, including Work Orders, Statement of Works, Order Forms, declarations
- Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Review vendor questionnaires, and gather necessary information from internal stakeholders and records to complete such accurately
- Communicate with clients, and external legal entities as needed
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations LEGAL TEAM ADMINISTRATION:
- Proofreading agreements and schedules, plus other documentation
- Liaising with the IT department on behalf of the team (including logging incidents)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet tight deadlines - Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with both internal stakeholders, including the sales, security and finance teams, as well as external clients
- Collaborative team player with high emotional intelligence and, a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- Keen attention to detail
- Advanced ability in Microsoft Word Desirable experience would be:
- Contracts team experience
- Intermediate knowledge in other Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of CRM tools
