Full Job Description
An elderly couple based in Somerset is searching for a part time live out housekeeper carer cook to help with personal care, provide companionship, and keep their home tidy. Someone who drives would be a bonus.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 2 pm to 5 pm
Duties include:
mobility support
getting out and going for a walk (this is one of the most important duties at this moment)
taking the client for a drive at least once per week
stimulating and entertaining the client in the form of board games such as scrabble, chess, crosswords and sodoku, appointments when required
personal care support
cutting nails, grooming
getting dressed
companionship
ensuring that the client is safe and comfortable at all times
stimulating and motivating the client
encouraging the client
ensuring the client has everything he needs at all times
cook basic snacks and beverages, such as tea
pet care duties for their small dog
They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit. The ideal start date is on the 31st of March.
