Are you ready to take on this challenging yet fulfilling role and help these men rebuild their lives? ABOUT THE (PART TIME) NIGHT MENTAL HEALTH RECOVERY WORKER ROLE We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part time Complex Needs Recovery Worker to join our team at Focus. Our service supports 28 men aged between 18 and 72 who have a history of forensic mental health issues with co morbidity, often alongside co-occurring substance misuse disorders. The residents range from high-risk to low-risk, and our aim is to provide tailored support to help them reintegrate into the community. You will be expected to manage the CCTV remotely covering 6 locations. You will need teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of professionals, including social workers, probation officers, mental health practitioners, GPs, pharmacists, substance misuse specialists, housing officers, benefits advisers, community organisations, and police and legal professionals. We are seeking a dedicated recovery worker to join our pool of night staff. If you are passionate about supporting vulnerable men with a history of forensic mental health needs and comorbid substance misuse disorders - helping them to live fulfilling lives without judgement - and you have an empathetic approach, we would love to hear from you.,
- Provide person-centered support to residents, helping them rebuild their lives and transition back into the community.
- Work collaboratively with residents to address their needs, including mental health support, substance misuse recovery, and practical assistance such as applying for benefits or booking medical appointments.
- Signpost residents to external organisations and services that can aid their recovery, such as drug rehabilitation programs, psychological therapy, and social services.
- Build relationships with residents, offering emotional support and fostering a safe, non-judgmental environment.
- Attend and contribute to weekly MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) meetings
- Confidently report issues to the police when necessary and work closely with probation officers to ensure residents meet their legal and rehabilitation requirements.
- Support residents in accessing primary healthcare services, including arranging GP appointments and liaising with mental health professionals. What we offer

Shift Pattern: Part Time (Waking Night) - 18.75 hours per week, Night shifts vary between 21:00-08:30, onsite face-to-face service, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as needed. Salary: £26,155.35 (pro rata)
