Full Job Description

This is a senior leadership role to oversee the growth of Digital Risks Advisory in EMEA, specifically:

  • To lead the EMEA Advisory business in the region, and to actively support the wider Digital Risks teams.
  • To scale our advisory work with a focus on deepening our client traction and penetration in the UK, Europe and Middle East.
  • To oversee all aspects of regional commercial, financial, and operational management for the Advisory team in EMEA.
  • To retain, develop, and manage the existing team, and to hire new resources to accelerate market growth.
  • To work side-by-side with regional sales and service line teams to drive significant growth in the business.
  • To support and develop the cohesion of the Digital Risks leadership team, contributing actively to global initiatives.
  • Tasks & Responsibilities Leadership and enablement:
  • Provide clear, visible, and energetic leadership, generating a significant step change in a growing business.
  • Lead the EMEA Digital Risks Advisory team on all aspects of strategy, operations, people and L&D.
  • Develop a team structure and to lead and motivate in a way which builds confidence and empowers.
  • Recruit and retain a high performing, motivated and diverse team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and One Firm behaviour.
  • Brand and market:
  • Actively promote Control Risks as a strategic advisor on cyber and technology risk.
  • Execute a coherent strategy focused on growth, ensuring it is anchored in regional and global priorities.
  • Own key client and buyer relationships in the region, driving growth in our key target markets.
  • Execute BD initiatives in these markets, backed up by clear account, sales and marking plans.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and thought leader for Digital Risks, both internally and in the market.
  • Delivery:
  • Achieve major origination, with a focus on strategic advisory, C-suite services and programmatic work.
  • Open-up and manage Tier 1 client accounts in EMEA and, where relevant, globally.
  • Expand our retainer and one to many distribution channels, driving high margin growth through our priority services.
  • Identify Partnership opportunities regionally/globally to drive business growth.
  • Support the Digital Risks SDC on the identification of technologies to improve efficiencies and client services

    Significant, recent and relevant experience in cyber security and related disciplines, particularly in commercial consulting.
  • Subject matter expertise, including extensive and demonstrable fluency in technology risk issues.
  • Proven experience of operating in senior security and commercial consulting roles.
  • Track record of developing trusted advisor relationships with senior C-level decision makers.
  • Deep knowledge of the cyber security industry and competitive landscape.
  • Significant experience of delivering higher value/margin services.
  • Qualifications and specialist skills
  • Educated to post-graduate level or equivalent experience.
  • Internationally recognised cyber qualifications (such as CCTIM/CISSP etc.).
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen.
  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills.
  • Proven cyber subject matter expertise derived from substantial commercial or government experience.
