Passenger Transport Unit - Bus Team
We are looking for two dedicated Passenger Transport Technical and Contracts Officers to join our Passenger Transport Unit.
In this role, you will support the Senior Transport & Contracts Officers in the bus team managing public and mainstream education transport. You will oversee contractor performance, monitor transport arrangements, and communicate with schools, operators, and local authorities to ensure the smooth operation of home-to-school and public transport services. You will also assist with contract reviews, procurement processes, and the analysis of survey data to improve service efficiency.

To succeed, you should have a BTEC National or equivalent qualification or relevant experience in the field of transport provision, highways, or passenger transport. You should also be confident in using Microsoft Office and have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of transport legislation, safeguarding, and health and safety would be an advantage.
