PASTORAL MANAGER
required for April/May 2025 (or sooner by agreement)
Salary Band E (£35,745-£41,418 pro rata)
Permanent, Full Time, Term Time plus INSET days
This is an exciting time to join us at Heart of England School. Following the appointment of a new Headteacher and two new Deputy Headteachers, we are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team of experienced Pastoral Managers.
Our Pastoral Managers have responsibility for a Year group, helping to oversee not only behaviour but also to offer additional support to students as needed as well as working closely with the SEND team in offering the best possible support for students.
Post Purpose:
· To raise standards of achievement for all our students by ensuring no child is invisible
· To lead the provision of effective care, guidance and support within and across Year groups
· To form and maintain excellent working relationships with parents and carers as well as students and staff
· To prioritise the behavioural and emotional wellbeing of students within and across the school in order to ensure students access the curriculum and make progress by minimising distractions
