We are looking for a dedicated Pastoral Welfare and Behaviour Officer to join our Student Services team and play a key role in promoting student well-being, positive behaviour, and academic success. About the Role As a Pastoral Welfare and Behaviour Officer, you will be a vital member of our professional, supportive and friendly pastoral team, working collaboratively to ensure that every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to thrive. This is a fast paced and rewarding role, where no two days are the same. You will work closely with students, staff and parents to ensure a positive and inclusive school environment. Your responsibilities will include;

• Playing a key role in safeguarding students and ensuring their welfare.
• Providing pastoral care to support students' well-being and promote positive behaviour.
• Acting as the first point of contact for students seeking assistance and maintaining accurate records.
• Encouraging high standards of behaviour, uniform, and respectful interactions.
• Managing internal/external exclusion administration and reintegration meetings.
• Leading the development of Pastoral Support Plans and Behaviour Profiles for your assigned year group.
• Collaborating with Pastoral Leaders to monitor student interventions and celebrate positive behaviour.
• Allocating students to the Reflection Room and supporting resolution processes.
• Assisting with the smooth running of exams and school events.
Essential Safeguarding Experience The role requires prior experience in safeguarding and a proactive approach to supporting student welfare. You will work to ensure a safe and supportive environment, and a thorough understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures is essential. You must demonstrate a commitment to promoting the safety, well-being, and development of young people. Your Skills:
