People Coordinator

As a People Co-Ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the People Team., Corresponding with new starters, preparing offer letters and contract whilst ensuring a professional and welcoming candidate experience.
Writing letters and providing low level advice relating to changes in employment.
Support with queries regarding family leave, probations, flexible working, holiday entitlements/calculations and reference requests.
Conducting right to work and DBS checks.
Responding to a variety of queries from the centralised email inbox.
To provide general administration support to the People Department as required including answering the telephone, scanning and emails.

HR experience is desirable but not essential
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
Competence with Microsoft packages
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work well within a team.

Kids Planet is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and young people. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. We expect all staff and volunteers to uphold this commitment, and safeguarding training is a fundamental part of every role. All colleagues are required to complete regular training to ensure they understand and fulfil their responsibilities. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory for all positions, and this role will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our safeguarding duties.

We are looking for Full time and Fixed Term Contracts.
