Full Job Description
Within its People & Communications teams, KONE is currently looking for a People (HR) Adviser who is passionate about people and would like to contribute to creating an exceptional working environment. In this role you will work closely with People Business Partners and Employee Relations Specialists to provide support with employee relations cases, employee performance, employee engagement and retention, data analytics and general administration.,
- Advise and coach line managers on employee relations processes and legislation.
- Preparation for and participation in investigations, disciplinary, capability, grievance meetings, and appeals; ensuring cases are managed promptly, professionally and in line with procedures. To keep accurate recordings of cases including minutes and letters.
- Management of short-term sickness absence cases, with involvement in meetings.
- Provide end-to-end support on maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and flexible working requests.
- Advice on, and participate in, probationary review meetings.
- Support offboarding of employees, conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to help improve the employee experience and retention.
- Help respond to HR queries throughout the business.
- Support with implementing and delivering HR initiatives, projects and programmes related to our people strategy.
- Work closely with the People & Communications Business Partners, Employee Relations specialists, and our People Operations team, providing support as necessary.
Good HR experience with a focus on employee relations. - CIPD completed or ongoing.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate positively at all levels of the organisation.
- Good attention to detail.
- Proactive and positive 'can do' approach.
- Good IT skills. (Workday) systems knowledge is beneficial.
- Flexibility for occasional travel to support with ER cases in other locations such as (but not limited to) Woking (Surrey) and Clapham (London) offices.
