Full Job Description

Everyday the people partnering team support our brand leaders across retail with a range of employee relations (ER) conversations. We are passionate advocates for the employee experience and ensure that we are always giving the best advice to support a team member's journey in our brand. We are looking for a people partner to join our team and support our UK retail colleagues through the full range of ER topics such as wellbeing discussions, investigations, disciplinaries, mediation, performance management and much more. Prior experience of supporting colleagues through these HR processes and positively influencing your customers to think differently yet fairly is a great place to be if you are applying for this role.ABOUT THE TEAM Our people & culture Team is based in our iconic East London Studios. This is where the heart of our AllSaints head office teams are based and we frequently join together to make great things happen. Our team is encouraged to be active business partners, spending at least 60% of their time either in store or in our offices with our customers to ensure we create meaningful relationships. We make great things happen, and are all encouraged to think differently, sharing ideas and suggestions for how we can engage our teams with our policies and ways of working. Reporting into the head of people partnering, this position will sit within the overall people partnering team which consists of a team of HRBPS. Together we support each other and the brand, to provide policy advice, procedure updates, ER training and much more. At the heart of what we do, is to ensure we balance our ways of working with creating positive employee experience.WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Building relationships and working collaboratively with all teams and departments within the business to ensure we are providing the very best support to deliver business goals
  • Overseeing and support managers with performance management discussions, ensuring that we utilise the full range of our people strategies to support improvement such as SmartSaints and PIPS
  • Offering constructive advice and support to people managers who are navigating investigations, disciplinaries or grievances. Ensuring the process is completed not only procedurally correct but importantly fairly and timely
  • Providing regular ER updates and recommendations to the people partnering team about ER caseload, and ongoing cases
  • Work with the people & culture senior management team to escalate any projected risks or complex cases, to minimise any potential impact on our brand
  • Ensuring you are keeping accurate record keeping, filing and data management across all ER cases
  • Taking part in people and culture projects, such as supporting our HR System implementation or HR Data project to create a first class people team
  • Delivering regular policy training as part of our people policy series to team members
  • Support with regular tasks including ER tracker upkeep, ER reporting, scheduling people training, maintaining company org charts
  • Any ad-hoc activities as required

    First and foremost you have an appetite for people and culture and a skill for partnering with your customers. You know how to truly listen, connect and make considered recommendations in a way which provides leaders with constructive thought
  • Positive and inspiring: you want to help our teams do their best and feel appreciated. You have a desire to be part of a coaching culture and demonstrate this in your ER advice. You take time to think about not only the legalities but what is right for our team members before a decision is made
  • You have a good foundation of understanding across HR procedures, confidentially navigating investigations, disciplinaries and grievances. You are comfortable with guiding managers through decision outcomes and if needed in exceptional circumstances you are confident with chairing a case
