Summary
Work with us at Riverford, and join a thriving employee-owned business. Be part of a creative, innovative and collaborative team. Beyond the Veg Box - At Riverford, our passion for organic vegetables is unmatched. We're not just about delivering veg boxes; we're dedicated to sustainable farming and community building. As a part of our team, you become a co-owner, sharing in our successes and contributing to a mission that goes beyond profit. We aim to make Riverford a fulfilling place to work, where our co-owners feel valued.
Our HQ at Wash Farm in Devon is a beautiful place to work, with lots of great people - and other perks too. Some of our benefits include: 33 days holiday pro rata (including bank holidays), free organic fruit and veg, time and half on bank holidays, and free parking. Plus, at Wash Farm you can enjoy our heavily subsidised, organic meals prepared onsite.
Grow with Riverford - Take the next step in your personal and professional journey with training tailored to help you grow and achieve your goals. At Riverford, we do things differently. As an employee-owned business, everyone has a voice and a stake in what we do. We believe in good food, good farming, and good business - and we're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to help us grow in a way that reflects these values.
You'll shape and lead our digital marketing strategy, driving customer acquisition and early retention to support sustainable growth and strong ROI. This is a hands-on role, working closely with agencies and internal teams to build profitable, well-structured traffic across digital channels. But success here isn't just about numbers - it's about making thoughtful, informed decisions that serve our business, our customers, and the wider Riverford community.
Collaboration is key. Whether you're refining strategy, analysing performance, or fine-tuning creative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring we connect with customers in a way that's genuine, impactful, and true to who we are.
Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum - Dependent on experience
Location: Based at Wash Farm, Buckfastleigh, Devon, the home of Riverford Commercial. This role offers flexible, hybrid or remote working, with a minimum one day per month on-site. While we're open to remote applications, being on the farm helps maintain a strong connection to our team and our work.
What You'll Bring…
- Proven expertise in performance marketing, with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience leading high-growth digital campaigns in a brand or agency setting.
- A strong understanding of media effectiveness, from planning to execution.
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Search Ads 360, and Facebook Ads Manager (preferred but not essential).
- Familiarity with A/B testing and CRO to optimise customer acquisition.
- A clear understanding of digital's role in both brand building and direct response marketing.
What We're Looking For…
- A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a results-driven mindset.
- Organised and clear communicator, able to collaborate across teams.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident using Excel and data analysis tools to inform decision-making.
- Experience in DTC subscription models is a plus.
Application Process: We're reviewing applications on a rolling basis and may close the advert early, so we encourage you to apply soon.
Our process has two to three stages to make sure we're a great fit for each other. It may start with a quick call to chat through the role and your experience. From there, shortlisted candidates will have a virtual interview, followed by an on-site visit to our farm, provisionally planned for Thursday, 3rd April.
We see this as more than just an interview - it's a chance to get a real feel for Riverford, where sustainability, community, and co-ownership are at the heart of how we work.
