Full Job Description
To provide domestic support, cooking, cleaning and washing (clothes and dishes) to ensure the home is clean; candidates must also prepare warm home cooked meals and light snacks.
The successful candidate must also be happy to accompany me to hospital appointments.
Help with dog duties!
Overall, the candidate must help in maintaining a safe environment, limiting potential injury in the home due to my restrictions with mobility.

Essential:
Able to carry out domestic tasks to a high standard.
Ability to cook a warm home cooked meal and preparing of light snacks.
Happy to work around an energetic dog!
Full UK driving licence (automatic/manual )essential as I have a Motorbility vehicle, must be 25 years old and over for insurance purposes.
The rate of pay for this position is £12.21 per hour
Hours and times of work: 12 hours per week, to be discussed further at interview, flexibility of days and hours at times are required due to ongoing appointments. You will also be expected to cover the holiday of my other employee occasionally (up to 20 hours per week).
As an employee you will be entitled to a pension and paid holiday of 5.6 weeks pro-rata.
You will be directly employed by me, but Suffolk Independent Living will manage the payroll and pay you.
The post is subject to the following:
A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
