Full Job Description

I am looking to employ an Enthusiastic, caring and committed individual Personal Assistant to join our amazing team supporting 2 ladies with severe disabilities & epilepsy in their family home based in Runcorn. A Personal Assistant works directly with one or more individuals to support them with various aspects of their daily like so that they can live it in a way they choose. The successful candidate will be directly employed by the family of the ladies who need the care and support. Halton Direct Payments Team act as a support service and will not be the employer for this role. One of the ladies is wheelchair dependent, and duties will include personal care, cooking for clients following dietitian plan, domestic duties, companionship and supporting them to have social support in the community.   • £12.44 per hour
  • £75 per sleep in
  • This role is based in the Castlefields area of Runcorn, Cheshire. A Female Personal Assistant is required to provide personal and practical assistance, to enable two disabled ladies to live independently. MAIN DUTIES:
  • Assistance with all aspects of personal care - showering/dressing
  • Assisting at meal times, meal preparation
  • Monitor and record health
  • Administration of medication
  • Booking and going to appointments
  • Supporting with shopping
  • Undertake domestic duties; laundry, changing beds, general housework, cleaning and dusting
  • Supporting to social/community events and outings.

    Working Hours:
  • 12 hours per month + 4 sleep in nights per month and with an opportunity for extra hours in the future. Working days can be discussed upon interview. You would also be required to be flexible to cover sickness/annual leave Rate of Pay: £12.44 per hour £78 per sleeping night Patience, initiative, caring and a good sense of humour are the qualities most needed. Hours to be worked flexibly and will include Weekends An Enhanced DBS will be paid for by the employer and References will be required.
  • Driving Licence (required) You would be required to drive the mobility car which is an Automatic car & Insurance provided
