Summary
Introduction
I am a 14-year-old boy with Autism, ADHD and demand avoidance profile. I enjoy football, Pokémon, swimming, and playing computer games.
Duties
- To provide respite for my family, to take me out in the community for the set hours.
- Encourage and help me to become independent in the community.
- Help me access shops.
- Help me to understand road safety and how to behave appropriately in the community.
Hours
- 3 hours per week term time
- 5 hours per week holiday time
Rate
£15-£16.00 per hour
Essential Requirements
You must have a DBS (this can be arranged by the local authority) and be experienced with children who have complex needs.
Desired Experience
A strong personality to help ensure boundaries are kept, experience with working with children with social and emotional difficulties.
